About me

Hi,

I’m Gemma, a mum, partner and yoga teacher. I have been practicing yoga for many years as I have been surrounded by yoga for a very long time. My father is a successful yoga teacher, as is my partner, and my mother teaches meditation. I think it was an inevitability really, when surrounded by these influences, that I would end up drawn to yoga at some point!

My original passion was the Martial Art ‘Taekwondo’ and in South Korea I worked towards and achieved my Black Belt under a Korean Sensei at the World Taekwondo Headquarters, Kukkiwon.

Upon returning to the United Kingdom, I began attending my father’s yoga classes and later on my partners classes too, and my passion for Yoga began to take over my love for Taekwondo, maybe I was getting old!

I also travelled India, deepening my love for yoga, before undertaking my post graduate certificate in education, followed by my initial yoga teacher training in 2016.

I enjoy teaching both adults and children, and wish to make it as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, so that we can all reap the benefits. I therefore keep my classes grounded and tailor my teaching to suit specific audiences, aiming to ensure a yoga practice to suit you.
